Redefining Success: Lessons from My Career and Fatherhood

Jonathan Kantrowe shares how his evolving career and role as a father are redefining what success truly means.

Success used to mean titles, promotions, and recognition. And while those still matter, fatherhood has redefined the word for me.

Now, success looks like this:

  • Building a career that not only supports my family financially but sets an example of integrity and resilience.

  • Being present for the little things — school drop-offs, story time, weekend adventures.

  • Creating a balance where my kids see me as someone who works hard but never forgets what’s most important.

My career continues to evolve, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made. But what I’ve learned is that success is as much about who you are at home as who you are in the office.

At the end of the day, the greatest title I’ll ever hold is “Dad.” And that perspective makes every professional achievement even more meaningful.

Join me in reflecting — how has your definition of success evolved over time?
