Discover how Jonathan Kantrowe’s evolving career and role as a father intertwine, driving purpose, growth, and balance in life.
Becoming a father has been the most transformative experience of my life. It’s shifted not just how I spend my time, but also how I view success, career growth, and legacy.
When I look back at my early career, I see someone who was laser-focused on achievement — building, networking, chasing the next milestone. Fatherhood didn’t take that away. Instead, it sharpened my perspective. Every project, every late night, every achievement now carries more weight because it’s tied to something bigger than myself.
I’ve learned balance isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence. Sometimes that means shutting the laptop early to catch bath time. Other times, it means leaning into a work project that will shape my family’s future.
Fatherhood has also made me a stronger leader. Kids teach patience, empathy, and adaptability in ways no professional training can. Bringing that mindset into my career has helped me connect with colleagues and clients on a more human level.
At the end of the day, I want my children to look back and see not just a résumé of achievements, but a father who showed up — both at home and in his career.
